Mission Statement "As members of this community we share a basic bond; Living or Doing Business in Harrison. That alone is enough to ensure our loyalty to one another in improving the quality of life in Harrison."
A Letter from Our Founder Dear Fellow Harrisonians: In April 2006, a group of Harrisonians (Residents; Business owners; Employees of Harrison), came together and joined the Friends of Harrison. The following is the PAC Mission Statement: "As members of this community we share a basic bond; Living or Doing Business in Harrison. That alone is enough to ensure our loyalty to one another in improving the quality of life in Harrison." The following is our Goal: "To improve the quality of life for Harrisonians" We want to encourage Harrisonians to voice their opinions. Encourage responsible candidates to run for public office. We will encourage public debates on the real issues important to Harrison. Only those that should fear our Independent Committee are persons who are not out for the best interest of Harrisonians. The Friends of Harrison was not established for the purpose of attacking any particular party or person. We are an Independent Committee and we plan to jointly improve the quality of life in Harrison by overseeing the Political Action taking place in Harrison. This is not to be used for purposes of revenge or for individual gain. This is solely for the purpose of finding better, more just, and fairer ways of achieving progress. As each important issue is brought up it will be looked at and discussed as a group. No issue will be considered to small. Solutions will be determined based upon overall opinions and suggestions of the group. The motivation for your participation should be the fact that you can be part of an honest and strong group whose goal is to diminish wrong doings and protect the Harrison residents and its businesses. It's simple, I know that the team we have put together, can do the job. A job better then the people in office now, who have gotten to comfortable with their seats in office. Thank you, Michael Fernández (Founder/Chairman) ~Our View on Harrison's Development
“Community building is always complicated and fun… basis is honesty and loyalty... not much of that these days but 1 thing is for sure... you just have to keep looking out for one another... until you have that… you can only go so far.” Supporter quote
